AFC Extra Soft Tofu is processed a similar way compared to the egg tofu in which it soy milk is coagulated with an edible acid substance called Glucono delta-lactone (GDL) along with calcium sulfate to give the tofu its smooth silky texture.  Extra soft tofu is more soft that silken/soft and is also vacuum packaged in a tube form to create its shape. The main uses of extra soft tofu are mainly in soup based dishes and as an added ingredient in blended shakes and smoothies.
